This policy is written to be read. We collect what an order requires, we hold it for as long as the law and the engagement require, and we never sell it.

1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how OffshoreGuy, a service operated by Bitcitizen LLC ("Bitcitizen," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you access or use the offshoreguy.com website and any related pages, forms, tools, or communications (collectively, the "Website"), and when you use our company-formation services (the "Services"). OffshoreGuy is part of the Bitcitizen ecosystem.
Where this Policy addresses a matter specific to OffshoreGuy, this Policy controls. For matters not specifically addressed here, the Bitcitizen LLC Privacy Policy applies. By using the Website or Services, you accept this Policy.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Provided directly. Contact details (name, email); your intended-use statement; order and entity details; identity and verification documents you submit at Tier 1 and Tier 2 (government ID, proof of address, source-of-funds and, at Tier 2, source-of-wealth and ultimate-beneficial-owner declarations); and payment metadata (Bitcoin transaction IDs, Lightning payment references, USDT transaction hashes).
2.2 Collected automatically. Device and browser information; aggregate usage data such as page views and navigation paths; and IP address and approximate geolocation, retained only for security and fraud prevention.
2.3 From third parties. Verification results from our regulated KYC partner and screening results from our sanctions-screening provider.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to deliver the formation you ordered; to respond to inquiries and provide support; to return tool results; to communicate about your order; to operate and improve the Website and Services; to comply with legal, regulatory, and sanctions obligations; and to protect our rights and the safety of others.
Our legal bases are: performance of our contract with you (delivering your order); legal obligation (sanctions screening and KYC); legitimate interest (security and fraud prevention); and consent where required (for example, an opted-in newsletter), which you can withdraw at any time. We document the applicable basis on request.
5. Data security
We run controls, not aspirations: encryption in transit (HTTPS / TLS 1.2 or higher with modern ciphers and HSTS); encryption at rest for all persisted personal data; hardware-key second factor (FIDO2 / WebAuthn) on top of Clerk authentication for administrative access; a strict Content Security Policy and security headers; and compartmentalized case handling so one order does not see another. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. International data transfers
Bitcitizen LLC is registered in the State of Wyoming, United States. By using the Website or Services, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and in any country where a formation jurisdiction, licensed local provider, or service provider is located.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with cross-border data-protection rules, we carry out transfers of your personal information in accordance with applicable law, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR. Where required, this includes the use of Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, and equivalent mechanisms.
8. Data retention
We retain personal data only as long as the purpose requires. Inquiry data is deleted after 24 months. Order and entity records are retained for the duration of the engagement plus the period we are legally required to keep KYC records, typically five years under FATF guidance. Aggregate analytics are anonymized. Security and audit logs are rotated. Where a legal hold or sanctions inquiry requires longer retention, the affected records are kept for that obligation's duration.
9. Your rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data, to object to processing based on legitimate interest, and to withdraw consent. Deletion is subject to legal-hold and regulatory-retention exceptions.
If you are in the EU, EEA, or UK, you have rights under the GDPR and the UK GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. If you are a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA (collectively, "CCPA/CPRA"), including the rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale or sharing; we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA. 10. Children's privacy
The Website and Services are not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child's information was inadvertently collected, contact [email protected] for prompt deletion.
11. Third-party links
The Website may link to third-party sites, including jurisdiction registries, licensed local providers, and other Bitcitizen ecosystem services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices or content; review each site's own policy.
12. Changes to this policy
We update this Policy when our practices, technology, or legal requirements change. The effective date above reflects the most recent update. Material changes will be announced on the Website and, where appropriate, by direct notice.
